This house represents one of my early design projects. Designed with my colleagues in MAXIMUM Design Studio, and in collaboration with Arsadana, the house was meant to blend with the surrounding environment by incorporating elements and materials used in neighboring houses.
Personally, the design of the house, though not realized by the designers at that time, can be categorized as sustainable design as it incorporates materials that are easily available throughout the area (such as wood, local stones and rocks, and red brick) therefore reducing the amount of carbon footprint caused by transportation of building materials.
